An accidental dog swap unleashes an unexpected love match in this new romantic comedy from New York Times bestselling author Julia London. Carly Kennedy's life is in a spiral. Well, I did check three books off the list for my #BookReport this week, but then went completely off the rails by reading The Prepper's Pantry Handbook and then the just-shy-of-500-page Aurora's End, neither of which were part of my game place last Sunday! 😂 The Shadow of the Wind should be my next read, but I'm still feeling like something fluffy, so I picked up the tagged last night instead, my Romance #LMPBC that starts with a dog mixup! ⬇

I had a fun time reading this but it‘s not a recommend from me. Too many F bombs and info dumps and a focus on sexual themes for me. It was a pretty light hearted and the two MCs had fabulous chemistry that made me smile and swoon. Defiantly a book for dog lovers if you can handle the aforementioned themes. Also has a solid Austic spectrum representation. (Side character) 2 stars.

Too adorable! My endorphins were in a perpetual state of bliss as I read this book. Max and Carly work so well together and I enjoyed every moment of their developing romance. Their pups Hazel and Baxter are adorable as well. Add in Cary's cooky relatives and you're in for a whole lot of laughs. This is romantic comedy at its best! 😂❤
