Robert Ludlum's the Bourne Legacy
Robert Ludlum's the Bourne Legacy | Robert Ludlum, Eric Van Lustbader
2 posts | 8 read | 1 reading | 9 to read
Once, Jason Bourne was notorious in the clandestine world of covert-ops as one of the CIA's most expert international killers for hire. Out of the ashes of his violent past he's emerged today as a Georgetown professor, living a quiet life, retired from danger--until he narrowly escapes the bullet of a faceless assassin. And when two of Bourne's closest associates are murdered, Bourne knows that his legacy has followed him--and set him up as the prime suspect for the brutal crimes. The quicksand of lies and betrayals is deeper than Bourne ever imagined. Hunted by the CIA as a dangerous rogue agent, he has only one option to stay alive--and one last chance to stay one step ahead of an unseen assailant whose vengeance is personal. Pursued across the globe, Bourne's on the run, and on the edge of discovering the truth--that he's become the expendable pawn in an international terrorist plot. One that's taking every living witness with it and plunging Bourne one step closer to the world-shattering consequences of...the Bourne Legacy.

Watching the Bourne movies to refresh before the new movie comes out!!!

EliseWhitmore Not that it needs a plot. Or sound for that matter. Watching Matt Damon be a bad-ass is enough 🔥 8y
MrBook Read the first three Bourne books and have #4 on tap. Loved the books and the movie, though the movies are very different from the books. 8y
Alena Same here! One of those series I can watch again and again, although I've never read the books. 8y

[DELETED] 2232195534 I read the first 2 or 3 Bourne books long, long ago. Actually read a bunch of Ludlum's books. Spies and assassins and conspiracies galore. Have enjoyed the movies and looking forward to the new one. 8y
jpmcwisemorgan I've never read the books but I love Matt Damon as Jason Bourne. I have a friend who said the books are nothing like the movies. I'm guessing that's probably fairly accurate given the way books are translated into movies??? 8y
Awk_Word_Smith Yes it's best to watch the movies as a refresher since they didn't follow the books after the first movie. 8y
Well-ReadNeck The movies are definitely different. It's hard to write a compelling car chase for 85 pages 😂😂😂 8y
Michelle_mck I love the books and the movie - wish Marie was more like the books 8y
