I love this poetry book for its representation and would be great for a younger grade such as 2nd or 3rd. However, it could be used more loosely.

I really enjoyed this, so much so that I plan to read the novels it's adapted from. I had heard of them before now, but I never took the time to check them out. The graphic novel was done really well, I obviously don't know how it compares to the novel version, but the graphic novel had such a great flow to the story. I was drawn in almost immediately. It was incredibly well done.
My favorite coworker at the library, who has also worked as a nature educator, created a haiku challenge for #NationalPoetryMonth. She‘s provided photo inspiration (complete with ID). I chose the pictured and tried my hand:
Delicate flower
I am not. Instead, call me
a sensitive fern.
If this is the kind of nerdy wordiness that appeals to you, I‘m sure she‘d be thrilled to have more entries!

Read this back in February and forgot to post. Book 2 of the 39 Clues series (#SeriesLove2023). This time we travel to Austria and Italy. I love the au pair, Nellie. She is great comic relief.
I loved this series! Learn a bit of high adventure, and discovering the kids are bigger than they knew. #ScarathonDailyPrompt “Clue” #Scarathon #TeamSlaughter @Clwojick
