I don't think Robert McCammon gets enough attention as one of our great American authors and especially a great Southern author. Although this wasn't as good as Swan Song and no where near the level he reached with Boy's Life, this novel still takes you on a journey of the heart. Recommended especially if you are a music lover.

Honestly this was a bore fest! Unfortunate because he's been a favorite of mine for years. No point to this mess at all. Not a thriller with vanilla characters.
