Catching up on some reviews. This was good but honestly I got a little lost in all the details. It is nice that someone donated it to the library - hopefully I will eventually make it to the end of the series!

I always enjoy Maisie. Sort of cozy mystery?
First discovered in a jumble stall and have read thru the series, 16 do far

First flowers of the year and another great book!! 💜💜💜Maisie Dobbs!!

A nostalgic type of detective novel, based in London during the second World War, it is extremely well written and a plot that's well developed. Maisie Dobbs investigates the murder of an unknown person as reported by her young runner, Freddie Hackett. But far larger forces are at play here..

This is another fantastic read in the Maisie Dobbs series. I guess it falls under “Cozy Mystery” because it‘s not gory. I love this character driven mystery series. Maisie has changed so much since the first book, and I love getting to see her evolve.

Not to brag... but I just finished my review for this book TWO DAYS EARLY. Phew. The last few months “pandemic brain” has really caught up to me and I‘ve struggled to hit my review deadlines. But I‘m doing ok this month, woot!! #howjessicareads2021
