Honestly, the only reason I picked up this book was because of the Northern Lights, of which there was just 2 references to it 😩

#backpackEurope travelogue *fictional*
Country 7: In Lapland I heard some local Sami people sing some yoiks ( https://youtu.be/2_gnoljjBW8 ).
This book was SO good but the ending made me so MAD. I had a different book planned (The Finnish Line) but opened this and couldn't stop til it was done. Clarissa's grief and pain is so raw and beautifully drawn in her search for her bio dad. The writing is as sparkling as the Finnish landscape. 4/5
Bought four books in Mesa AZ at The Book Vault on Black Friday and then had #bookmail waiting for me at home with an ARC of #OtherPeoplesHouses. I haven't read any Agatha Christie so I want to read it before I see the movie. Brave New World is on my #litsyclassics list. I love used book stores! ❤️❤️💕💕
Not all travel make happy memories.
After book 2 for my #SummerReads, moving on to book 3 - The Barefoot Summer while the library cozy series continue to distract ;p

Spare prose reflects the natural beauty of the sparse landscape and highlights the despair of a woman searching for the truth of herself, & then deciding what to do when she discovers it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Love this book that follows a girl in search of her father in Lapland! (I'm a huge Vendela Vida fan 😊) #photoadaynov16 #chillyreads
I don't know how it took me so long to discover this author. This is a very short read and can easily be finished in one sitting. The writing is beautiful and the story is very touching.
Vida is one of my favorite authors and this novel, which takes place in Lapland is perfect for #funfridayphoto! (I'm loving the idea of snow ❄️Heat index is 106 where I live!)
