Anytime I watch Outlander on the TV, I always like to have the Companion with me. So when Jenny and Ian Murray talk about their kids I atleast have a Family Tree to reference to. Who else is invested in the Outlander Series?? What do you enjoy more? The books or the TV series? I'm halfway through season 3 and just starting Book 4 of the series. #outlander #theoutlandishcompanion

wanderinglynn 😖🤬 When there are so many things you can use as a bookmark, why dog ear?! 7y
Tianarose Right?!? I use my phone, a tissue, a receipt... or even just remembered the page number if I literally had nothing else. 7y

I enjoyed this audiobook. Lots of background info on Outlander, how the author got started, interesting tidbits about the characters etc. Mostly read by the author herself. Except the summaries of books 1-3. That being said, I believe this is something that only a big fan of Outlander would like, otherwise it might not hold your interest quite as well. But for me, I appreciated the inside look into the books and how they came to be written ☺️

Tianarose Thanks for the tag! I am over halfway through this. 7y
HOTPock3tt @Tianarose no prob! ☺️ I got the idea to read this from one of your posts lol. I really wanted to see all the cute illustrations but my library didn‘t have the actual book, only the audiobook 😕 (edited) 7y
Tianarose @HOTPock3tt glad you enjoyed it. I am looking forward to finishing it. lol 7y

My boyfriend and I are packing up my house before we deep clean and put it on the market in the next few weeks. Here is my tbr all packed up. Luckily I have a kindle full of books I've never read also. (I watched guardians of the galaxy vol.2 while packing and absolutely love it)

This is my #impulsebuybook for #augustphotochallenge. It's the companion to the first four books in the Outlander series. It's a perfect way to keep track of all the names and dates, plots and characters. It was $40, but well worth every penny!! I HAD to have it!!❤️📚❤️📚❤️

Tillie I really want that book... 8y
Karkar I love this book 📚📚❤️❤️ 8y

Lizpixie I'm probably the only one on here, but I've never read these, which is weird, because I love all things Scottish! I should get around to it soon, but it's a #nobookbuymonth for me in September😔 8y
Leelee08 @Lizpixie You definitely need to read them! I probably need to do a no-book month, but I have absolutely no willpower.....😂🤓📚 8y
kspenmoll @Lizpixie I have to add to your confession; So many have recommended this series but I have yet to read...someday when stack is shorter- ha! 8y
Lizpixie @kspenmoll 😂😂😂😂😂😂 oh, were you being serious? Hard to shorten a stack when you keep adding to it📚📚📚📚📚 8y

Well after all that I didn't even have time to start a new novel today. I guess I'll spend a few more minutes with this beast while I wait for my husband to be ready to watch the series finale...

triskeleseeker Aaaand he's decided he's not in the mood to watch it tonight. Starting tomorrow morning, he'll be working a 24 hour shift, and so we won't watch it together til Monday night. Blargh. Maybe I'll watch it tomorrow while he's gone; for now, I'll keep reading! 🤓 8y

Absorbing a few more tidbits from Herself while I wait for the potatoes to roast...(argh, I totally thought the season 2 finale was tonight! Sad I have to wait 'till next week 😥...I know we're all readers here but I can't be the only one watching the tv adaptation...😁)

triskeleseeker (Side note: I do truly love these illustrations sprinkled throughout the book, especially the botanical ones.) 8y
bookishkai I'm watching, too, and am also bummed the finale isn't till next week. But it's an hour and a half, which will be awesome. 8y
triskeleseeker @bookishkris very true, I guess that is an acceptable trade off 😊 8y
Rebekaaah I don't want to wait another week! So unfair! 😩 8y

In-between novels and not sure what I'm in the mood for next, I decided to drop back into this beast for some words of wisdom and fascinating tidbits from Herself.
