Also, as someone who doesn‘t typically reach for nonfiction, Crying in H Mart absolutely blew me away. If you have experienced the loss of a parent especially, I highly recommend.

Looking back on my year and Remarkably Bright Creatures was definitely in my top favorites. Also revisited some old favorites in 2023.

Just making it this year. Not as many as I would‘ve liked but that‘s life. Next year will have more time for books!

It‘s been a long time…. But this one brought me back to Litsy! Anyone who has been through significant loss, especially a parent, this book will reach down and touch your heart. I loved this memoir. 5⭐️!

Okay, it‘s been a while. I fell into a hardcore slump. I finally finished my first book in 2021. I had a hard time getting into this and found some of it disappointing.... but damn was that climax fun. Turned it around for me in the end. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thankful for good news and stunning weather this week during a long and lonely mandatory quarantine.

As one might expect, going back to school has been absolutely bonkers. Thankful for health and for long weekends. Taking a short staycation about an hour from home to relax. #currentlyreading

My local library hosted trivia night and I wasn‘t sure how it would go, but it was so much fun. They‘re going above and beyond with the online program content for sure with lots of classes for crafting, cooking, painting, and they even mailed out surprise books!

What a wild ride. Felt long and dragged out in the beginning but as the story went on I began to appreciate the detail more. The last third or so was hard to put down. The story twisted in unexpected directions and the action was intense! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ .... but only because my Maas Standards are too high after #ACOTAR... excited for more in this series. 🌙 🌃
