Another winner from Chadwick. I‘m just sorry it‘s over so fast! Main female character is the grand daughter of the ever present William Marshall (he‘s already dead in this book but he‘s always ever present 😁).
She marries Henry III‘s half brother against the back drop of the De Montfort debacle. You see the de Montfort story from a different angle to Penman‘s which was interesting.
Great historical fiction.
