As a Croatian I thought there was a lot of history in here that I was unaware of (confirmed with my aunt) but it was so so slow in the beginning. The middle and end definitely pick up speed and pull you in quickly!!

Definitely got this book for the cover. That and the fact that it was on uber sale, so it only cost a dollar new. Now sure what that says about the book, as I haven't read it yet. But it's pretty 😍.

This book was very slow for me at first but it did pick up a little in the middle with some unexpected things in the end. I don‘t think I would put this on a read again list but it wasn‘t hard to get through.
