pickBook 4 in this series- and it has taken me about 6 months to finish- but that‘s because of my easily distracted brain. It was fun and a little more sad - slightly disjointed with popping in and out of Fae, horrible imprisonment and torture- but a solid installment for this not quite cozy but cozy adjacent fantasy series.

pickWas able to finish this today, but now I‘m sad that the wait for Book #5 begins.😢 This one has Sam & Clive in England by way of Paris & after the evil vampire trying to destroy Clive for revenge. Sam‘s bad assery continues as does Clive‘s hotness (this cover is not a good measurement)🙄 & the usual snark & plethora of supernaturals & fae make this a good entry in the series. My new favorite character? Wolfhound puppy, Fergus.💜 There‘s a sweet ⬇️

Although I just arrived & have a long day ahead, I‘m SO happy it is Friday! Fried rice w/ egg on top, 😋coffee & a few chapters of Book 4 in the Sam Quinn series that came out this week (before anyone else arrives at the office). It bumped my #TBR line even if I haven‘t had much time to read—I need some Sam & Clive. 1st book tagged ⬇️
