Indie Author Brawl! There‘s a reason this book is #3 in the bracket; I was very pleasantly surprised! I love a good haunted house book, and this is a fresh addition to the genre. Highly recommend! (I didn‘t want to offend someone, so I blacked out a letter on the cover. Sorry!)

Lauranahe I feel like the title is kinda misleading, cuz it‘s not really funny. It has its moments, I guess, but it‘s more serious. It has some creepy moments, but mostly just fun? If that makes sense? 9mo

A must read for horror fans that like dark humor mixed with the paranormal and a bit of oddity. I had a great time reading this tale!

so-so

I really want to give this a pick. 13 yo Reggie wants me to give this a pick. A family moves into a house. The house might be sentient. There are some misunderstandings. The house throws a tantrum. This had potential and coulda been executed better. But it is not a pick. I think I would have been okay with the wacky, nutso back half if he had written some solid family characterization that hadn‘t read so flimsy.

Some guy coming back from a Vegas bender with all his other bros, on a plane, in khaki shorts, with a golf shirt, maybe the collar is popped? Idk. And he has a cap, maybe it‘s turned backwards, and he thinks, man I need to turn my life around and he thinks I know I‘ll be a writer who writes stuff no one has seen. And right there on the plane he borrows a scrap of paper 2y
