I have finished my Sketchbook. I‘m happy to be done, but I‘m disappointed in myself for slacking. I think that I may try doing this again sometime. If you can‘t tell it‘s a cat theme. These are a few of my favorites.
I have forgotten all about the Sketchbook Project that I started last year. I‘m “craming” so to speak while I figure out which book to read next. It‘s due to be postmarked by Saturday so I‘ve given it a cat theme and it‘s different mediums. This sketch is a take on a tattoo design I made (though haven‘t gotten done) as a tribute to my cat Flour.
So I got a sketchbook from Sketchbook Project earlier in the year and I‘ve only completed one page. 🤦🏻♀️ I‘m trying to get creative and complete it within the next few weeks.

My tiny sketchbook for The Sketchbook Project is going to Paris and London, dates in the picture. Want to see it? It's called Windows, code number T/9.2-4, by Tournevis.
Doing some watercolor before attempting to pick up a book. I‘ll try anything to Desiree‘s at this point.

I think I have thought of a theme for my book. Travel. I think I want to draw places I‘ve been and/or travel to.

Now that I have this I need to come up with a theme... The pencil they sent with the book did not fair well during the travel.
Has anyone participated in the Sketchbook Project?
I just ordered mine and I‘m kind of psyched about it. #sketchbookproject
If you are in Toronto, you can go to the Distillery District to the Brooklyn Art Library bookmobile, which is in town 27-29 July. It carries a selection from the Sketchbook Project, including mine, visible in this picture!
Morning coffee and the sketchbook project. 😺 #mugsoflitsy
I am officially done with my contribution to The Sketchbook Project for 2018 (you read that right). I'll be mailing the thing back tomorrow. I am so happy, and proud, to have finished it. There are a few spreads I am very proud of, such as this one.
The Sketchbook Project is the world's largest library of artists' books. The collection is on view at The Brooklyn Public Library. Next time you're in Williamsburg take a look, you may be inspired to create your own sketchbook for the collection ;)
