22 Seconds: (Womens Murder Club 22) | James Patterson
11 posts | 15 read | 1 to read
22 seconds... until Lindsay Boxer loses her badge - or her life. SFPD Sergeant Boxer has guns on her mind. There's buzz of a last-ditch shipment of drugs and weapons crossing the Mexican border ahead of new restrictive gun laws. Before Lindsay can act, her top informant tips her to a case that hits disturbingly close to home. Former cops. Professional hits. All with the same warning scrawled on their bodies. You talk, you die. Now it's Lindsay's turn to choose. _________________________________ READERS ARE LOVING 22 SECONDS 'Another surefire winner' 'Superb read . . . page turning and gripping . . . Hmmm 🤔. Sooo this was a hard book to start but I hate to leave a book once Iv started. The book started with sooo many characters (and I‘m not sure if anyone else creates images in there head when reading) it was very tough to keep up. Once I stuck with it, got easier and the book was so-so, was an ok book. 📖

SF detectives are slammed by a serial killer that may involve former cops, with professional hits. All the victims have the same warning scrawled on their bodies: “You talk, you die.” The women‘s murder club are 4 friends: Lindsey SFPD, ME Claire, journalist Cindy, and attorney Yuki.

At times, I feel that Patterson is losing his touch. His story are getting similar book by book.

Felt this was an improvement on some of the recent Women‘s Murder Club books, although would have liked a bit more about the others in the Women‘s Murder Club.

Feel this has set things up well for the next book.
