I‘ve had both #teamslaughter buddy reads on hold for a while, and neither have come in yet. The Slaughter book would actually be a reread for me, and so I decided to pick up another Meg Langslow book in the meantime. This was maybe the least interesting of the series that I‘ve read so far…. I ended up giving it three stars. I‘m still hoping Toucan Keep A Secret will come in before the end of the month though.

Turns out Michael‘s mother is a bit annoying, and I would have liked some more of Meg‘s mother, but another hilarious story!

Having been sick this past week this was definitely a fun read. Just over the top enough for me to laugh at it but not so over the top to make me roll my eyes. This series is a great cozy type mystery. And I love the puns in the titles so much!

Just posted this to my store's page. I am still a little bit jealous of people's snuggly snowed in pics. But just a little. --It's a snow day and we're snuggled up with a good book. Just kidding, it's Florida and a gorgeous, sunny 65 outside. We do have coffee, a cozy bookstore, and lots of good reads for you to choose from.

I wish it wasn't so uncomfortably hot outside so I can read in my yard. At least this book is good 🤓
