pickThis was cute but contemporary romance is rarely my thing and romantic suspense almost never is. The twist, twist, double twist, at the end did make for a super fun reveal though.
I was gonna go so-so on this but I'm going soft pick because this is absolutely a case of 'it's not you, it's me.'
Well the spinner gave me little direction this time. Fortunately this library hold came in the morning so I rolled with it.

Like Indian matchmaking meets the movie Date Night, this was a lot of fun! Pretty different from the other stories I‘ve read from Rai, but I had a great time reading it!
It kept shocking me that it all took place over one night - like a giant escape room with stolen jewels & lots of action. Fun, quick read.
Her matchmaker was going to fire her.

pickI super enjoyed this book; it was fun and engaging and also funny. I very much would like to see this turned into a movie because it would be so much fun. The MCs were flawed, but in good ways and all the side characters were great. I was also surprised by the ending. I knew things couldn‘t be simple, but the ending was still a surprise. But in a good way. I hope there‘s more to come!

pickFinished this one late night. This is a 2nd chance romance with a suspense plot. Mira and Naveen find themselves kidnapped immediately after an unexpected reunion and have to work together to survive. The suspense part was really enjoyable. They have quite the adventure. This book takes place over a very short period of time, so the romance kind of feels like insta love. But they were very hot together. 4⭐️ Out 10/18/22
