A classic satire of temptation done in letter format between the devil and one of his demon underlings. I have read this many times and it gets better with each reading.

I don't have a photo of this book, because I "read" it via an audio library book. C. S. Lewis shows in a clever way how Satan uses the smallest thing to bring us down. Told in a series of letters from Uncle Screwtape to his nephew Wormwood, Screwtape tells how to undermine the enemy (God) and keep the patient (man) from falling into the ultimate horror (Heaven). I highly recommend it!
For the present is the point at which time touches eternity.
As I was reading the book I came across an ad for the play. It was a powerful performance. Now it makes me just want to finish the book even faster. C.S. Lewis is genius!

Sorry to post twice in one day but I just received another copy of Screwtape. I collect all editions of Screwtape Letters • I LOVE THE COVERS
