This novel has an interesting premise and mysterious atmosphere. The author's prose is very descriptive. 4.5 stars.

I‘m at the dentist office. I‘m done with my appointment and now, I‘m waiting on my mom to get finished with her appointment. I started one of my Kindle Unlimited books and now, I‘m listening to this book. I‘m still not liking this book very much but it‘s okay. It‘s something to listen to while I‘m sitting in the waiting room. I took an Uber to the dentist but I‘m going home with my mom after she‘s done.

I‘m currently reading the #whimsicalreadsbookclub pick for October. It‘s set in Winslow, Vermont.

I don‘t know what to think about this book. Since my mom and I are going to the dentist tomorrow, I‘ll probably read on my Kindle or listen to some more of this book while I‘m sitting in the waiting room so I‘m charging up my AirPods tonight and I‘ll have them in my purse. It‘ll just depend on what I‘m in the mood to read while I‘m there.

I started the #whimsicalreadsbookclub book last night. I don‘t know if I like it or not. I probably won‘t have it finished before the discussion on Oct 30. My dog just passed away on Friday, October 25. I was feeling really good about my Oct TBR this month but life had other plans so I‘m starting fresh in November. I think maybe my Oct TBR was just setting me up for failure. I‘ll probably make my TBR smaller in Nov so I can read it.
