Exploring the Cosmere on this #WhereAreYouMonday

Laundry‘s done. Practiced multiple agility objects with dogs for some indoor exercise. Bread is baking. Black bean burgers are chilling before I bake them. And now I get to escape the second fascist initiation ceremony. Thank you Litten friends for posting positive vibes today and thank you Branden Sanderson and any other authors who help us forget the state of the world, even if just for a while.

Sace Sounds like a productive day! I have read two Sanderson books, but they were shorter and sort of stood alone. I am intimidated by his longer books. 4h
DogMomIrene @Sace I‘ve only read some of his shorter or YA books too so when @JacqMac started a #CosmereBuddyRead I decided to dive in. I like how his magic system here has consequences. That‘s an aspect of The Name of the Wind that I loved. Makes me like fantasy as much as science-fiction. 4h
Pogue I know it is not book related but how do you make your black bean burgers? 4h

#WhereAreYouMonday

This Monday finds me on the Planet Mars. It‘s only the second time I‘ve visited here in books, I think, having only previously read Andy Weir.

One of my current books is set in Seoul; the other is split between Kauai and the Hudson Valley.
@Cupcake12

TheBookgeekFrau The Hudson Valley is where I used to live! 💞 7h
bookandbedandtea @TheBookgeekFrau I had picked up that you were from the Northeast but didn't know where. This book is extolling the winter beauties of the region. Sounds perfect! 5h
TheBookgeekFrau @bookandbedandtea The real beauty is the fall! All season was like living in a vibrant painting--I miss that. Winter had its moments, but not like fall 5h
bookandbedandtea @TheBookgeekFrau I can imagine! I have to imagine... as pretty as fall is here it's nothing like back east. I've been looking up photos of that area while I read and everything I've seen is so beautiful. 😍 4h
TheBookgeekFrau @bookandbedandtea You're probably getting pictures of the riverside towns which are so adorable and $$$$$$ That is not where I lived 😂😂 now

#WhereAreYouMonday

I find myself in Canada today. I‘ve just started the inaugural #OhCanada read. New author for me and the first couple chapters are promising, though I know it‘s also going to make me sad.

Prairiegirl_reading Richard Wagamese is one of my favourite authors! I have not read this one but I‘ve read a number of his others and I think I‘ve rated them all 5 stars. I hope you enjoy it. And yes have the tissues ready. 1w
Ruthiella @Prairiegirl_reading Thanks for the heads up on the tissues! I will try to prepare myself. 1w
BiblioLitten I‘m starting this too! I was in Kamchatka Peninsula and am just about to start Wagamese! 1w
