The reveal in this one is quite effective! I'm enjoying Mickey Haller more than I had been, and I'm glad Connelly is letting him evolve, but I'll still be glad to get back to Bosch.

I knew I could count on Connelly to break the slump I've been in! I love a good courtroom drama and, as with all of the Mickey Haller books, this was top notch 👌🏽

I‘m a huge fan of Connelly, and this book proves why. The end threw me through a loop and had me questioning everything. His talent is evident. One of the best books I‘ve ever read.

Another great Mickey Haller legal mystery. This time, Mickey is representing a woman accused of murder. As usual, lots of twists and turns in this story.

So far this has been my favorite Haller book. Haller is a totally believable character as are his struggles. This novel see‘s Haller representing a women accused of murder. I have to say I did not see this end coming.

Great book with a surprise ending. This is why I love Michael Connelly.
