Here‘s my Friday total. How are YOU doing? #13inthree #readathon

Well, the downside of #13inthree seems to be that, after a weekend of lovely reading, everybody and everything in my life has conspired against me the rest of the week. I think I've read for an hour total since Monday. 😔

Also, not sure what to make of my newest read. It's another one of my sister's castoffs. Kinda weird so far.

Didn‘t quite make the 13 hours. Completed about 12 hours and 16 minutes, finished 2 books, Daughter of Fortune and The Color Purple and got about 2/3rds through Jurassic Park. This is the first time I got anywhere even close to completing a #readathon ☺️📚 #13inthree

Finished up this book last night for @Samplergal #13inthree. Didn‘t quite make the 13 but got to about 10. I did finish up three books that I have been waiting to finish for quite some time! Goal accomplished!

Finished this with the #13inThree late last night. I enjoyed it just as much as the first in the series. It has really left me with a new respect for those who came before us to begin this great America.

This was my final total for #13inThree. I switched to audiobook for the tagged book, which is the only reason I got this far. I was able to make some progress on my #temperatureafghan while #audiocrocheting. 😊 So, I didn‘t make the goal, but I made progress. I‘m happy about that.

Yesterday left no time for Litsy, so I have a few catch up posts from yesterday‘s reading on the last day of #13inthree.

The further I get in Hurston‘s story, the more I realize the importance of one of the earliest scenes of Janie lying under a pear tree. This experience becomes a symbol to Janie of an ideal relationship, an effortless union not dominated by possession.

This is the end result of #13inthree for me. I did better than I thought I would at almost 9 hours. I could have possibly read a bit more, but I finished the tagged book around 10pm, and didn't feel like starting another yet. My goal was to finish the book anyway for #MtTBRchallenge. 😁 Fun fact, most of the 242 pgs I read this weekend was the last chapter in the book. Crazy, right? And yeah, I'm a slow reader, especially with 2 yr olds around.
