I‘m starting a new book and finding a little time for #audiostitching this morning. As we have friends coming over to watch football today, the house is going to be loud and busy for much of the day, so I‘m enjoying a bit of quiet while I can. 🪡📖🏈

This is the first book in the current Amazon collection and it was fun! I‘ll probably go straight into the next one.

Listened to this #audiobook while playing PowerWash Simulator (#audiogaming ?) which feels like some of my other favorite activities - #audiopuzzling & #audiostitching.

Ta-Nehisi Coates reads wonderfully, and his writing works well in audio format. From Senegal to South Carolina to Palestine, he writes powerfully about race, myths, and the stories we tell ourselves. I appreciate how willing he was to be self-critical and show how he's changed.

Eh. This one didn't do much for me. I was bored by most of the characters, was unsurprised by The Big Reveal, and was annoyed by the ambiguity of the ending. Even if the end isn't what I hoped for or expected, I still want it to provide solid answers. This was unsatisfying for me. #audiostitching
