Thoughts on January and February rereads of The Infernal Devices: One of the things I love about Cassandra Clare novels is that she writes strong female characters. This series is full of them. It also has my all time favorite character Magnus Bane. Chapter of him and Henry inventing things was The Best. ➰️

so-soThe obsession with being a lady is obnoxious from the first mention of it, so the rest of the million mentions are just annoying. It wasn‘t that the story was bad, but I just couldn‘t wait for it to be over. Luckily the latest iOS update means I can listen faster than 2x speed, so I could hurry things along in the boring parts. I have the next two books, but I‘m not sure I will actually read them.

A friend recommended this years ago now. I started the ebook back in 2016 I think. I don‘t remember finishing it, but I did enjoy the parts of the book I read. Now I‘m taking the audiobook for a spin. We shall see.
