I loved this book when it came out and felt the connection to "Frannie" that everyone told me I would feel about Holden Caulfield...I enjoyed getting to step back into this world

My February choice for #ThematicCozies is A Rather Lovely Inheritance, which I have had on my shelves for I-don‘t-know-how-many years. So happy to finally be reading it!
What will everyone else be reading?
All are welcome to join our happy little group!

This is the most unique Jane Austen spin-off I‘ve ever read. I have myself sometimes wondered what it would have been like to be in Jane Austen‘s world, like one of her heroines. Courtney behaved naughtier than I would have. I think I would have been more scared after the whole asylum threat from her mother. Regardless, I enjoyed it! I would have liked a little more information at the end, but it was still satisfying. I recommend for Austen fans.
In the mood for a beach read since it‘s -10 degrees.
Really loved The Endless Beach. The Scottish Island of Mure, Flora‘s family and the community are all so lovely and well developed. I‘ve had this one for a long time and I‘m very happy I‘ve finally read it.

More of a ‘feel good‘ book than I usually go for but it was cute and I enjoyed it 😊
I finished this #audiobook while organizing my knitting stuff. Onto the next audio and knitting project!
When I‘m not feeling well, I love reaching for favorite authors. Colgan writes wonderful characters and heartwarming stories. The relationship between Issy and Grandpa Joe is sweet, loving and beautiful.

A group of disparate, sort-of friends come together for a weekend tennis party and things end up blowing up rather spectacularly. Basically, the foibles of rich people and those adjacent. I enjoyed this as a nice palette cleanser and even learned about the Lloyd‘s Name situation back in the 80s/90s.
