The first book I finished for this year‘s #WinterGames
This is my favorite Gamache book. It‘s set at Christmas and all the pieces come together so beautifully.
I think this is the 6th time I‘ve read this.

Little Women told mostly through the eyes of Mr. March. A friend recommended this knowing Little Women is a favorite, not knowing that I really can‘t stand Mr March. BUT this book did such a great job of explaining why he was such a pompous know it all without making him sympathetic. I loved it. Warning this book largely takes place in the south during the Civil War so it‘s not a gentle book.
Didn‘t realize this picture was so dark!
Covid brain is making it hard for me to read the novel I‘m working on so I spent the day watching baking shows and reading these short but lovely books. Covid is apparently making me emotional too because A Christmas Memory and The House Without A Christmas Tree both made me cry.
