October's choice was easy, nothing else I read that month was as beautifully written, as poignant and heart breaking as this. At only 127 pages, it sure throws a punch to the emotions, with a truly heartfelt HEA ending.

Hoping to find another one in this book too. 🤩 @AsYouWish

So, here‘s a #libraryhaul 😳
Wildful, Still Life, and Witches of Brooklyn are for #AuldLangSpine, so those wait till Thursday… and although it would be helpful to get a head start on Washington for #USPresidents, I don‘t think I‘m ready to jump into it yet! But I might just be tempted to start The Summer War sooner. Once I finish the last of my year-end reading. 😏

I had no idea what this book was going to be about. It‘s a fairy tale retelling of a bear story. This was based on a fairytale and the most unbelievable part about this story is the dog from her childhood was still alive 16 years later. 🤪

Friends!!!! Do any of you follow Gail Carson Levine on IG? She is delightful in talking about her books!!! I think i want to read many books i did not know had been written. If you do look at her page I would love to hear what you think too!

Beautifully written and wonderfully illustrated. It's the classic fairy tale written by the great Stephen King. Nothing too scary in this book for kids. The artwork is very calming and wonderful like all of Sendak's books. A must read for any fan of King, Sendak or the fairy tale.

I read 10 books in November.

The length of this novel did a disservice to the premise. 😏 It would have been much better as a short story or novella. What did the editor do aside from check grammar and spelling? I got through the audio only because I spent hours in the kitchen cooking & cleaning for Thanksgiving.

I read the Summer War last night. It's short and lovely and I read it in one sitting. It's very much a fairy tale told by the youngest of three siblings. All three children are very much involved in this story. I enjoyed it very much.
Also this book finished my goodreads reading challenge.😁
