“Little Women” is one of my favorite books of all time - Jo March was the first, and forever, character in whom I saw myself, even as a little kid - and so this is kind of interesting. This is a recommended book for #readharder for travel memoir. I didn't really read it as a travel memoir when I read it but I did really love it and need to re-buy it. It is a really good book. #geraldinebrooks #islam #equality

First reason for not liking it: I did not care two shrimps about the character David - both the historical figure and how he is portrayed as a character in the book.

Second reason for not liking it: the premise of the story is not met (to what I was expecting). The story starts by David ordering his prophet Natan to write down stories about himself, both good and bad.
