⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was exactly what I was looking for right now.
Full up of so much yearning & tension, most memorably as they were typesetting (not a euphemism), I was swooning at my desk.
Some spice, a supportive family, women pushing beyond their small boxes…what more could you need?

Snow, driven by a biting November wind, flurried against Guyon's dark cloak then swirled past him towards the castle glowering down from its crag overlooking the spotted River Wye.

This was the next instalment of the London Steampunk series that I started with #LittensLoveRomance. It‘s Rip and Esme‘s story and I loved it - this series is dark and gritty but full of great characters that you root for and fall for. I can‘t wait for the next one.

LiseWorks I've got to read this too! 5d

My book came in at #SHPL! I‘ll be picking it up and then reading a choose-your-own-adventure romance! I can‘t wait to try this book for this month‘s book club pick!

I‘m posting one book a day from my massive collection. No description, no reason for why I want to read it.

#BookBracket2025 for August was easy! The tagged historical queer romance was by far by favourite in an otherwise meh reading month. If you like your historical romances with real, interesting historical details and context, with bonus feminist and trans characters, A Shore Thing is for you!

Martyr! was an easy win against the two it came up against though. Can't beat how beautiful the writing is.
