#OMG I finished this book in two days. I hated to put it down to go to work. Even when I figured out what happened to Ellie I was still in suspense about another mystery. #ILikeIt #2018christyread

SilversReviews I just finished it also. Odd, creepy characters, but a good read. I see THE BROKEN GIRLS hiding. That would was VERY good too. (edited) 6y
Christyco125 @SilversReviews I‘m supposed to be reading The Golden Notebook but I haven‘t been able to get into it. The Broken Girls has been on my radar since I saw it on First to Read, then it was BOTM so I snatched it up. 6y

I thought this was a cute, quirky story about a woman‘s overwhelming day. I suppose you could write off most of it as superficial but I don‘t believe all of it is. #ilikeit #2017christyread

I couldn't help but love this book. It is wry and witty and I didn't cry until the end. A good example of grumpy old man lit. 😊 #2017christyread #ilikeit #realbook

I found a lot of similarities between his experiences and ones that I'd seen in my hometown. I was also a clerk at a grocery store and saw some interesting things. Check kiting, people stealing water from the back tap, and food stamp abuse was rampant. I did the #audio and will be re-reading in print. #ilikeit #nonfiction #2017christyread

It | Stephen King

One of my more favorite Stephen King novels. It definitely had me not reading to close to bedtime. There were some disturbing passages that were not horror related. But since it was a very small part of the story I've decided to ignore it and still find the book enjoyable. #ilikeit #2017christyread #realbook

It starts out funny but ended up thought provoking. If you can forgive the language it is a blunt, insightful and we'll rounded look at what is actually important. It also had me taking a hard look at how I gage my success in areas of my life. I say it was a pretty F...ing good book. #2017christyread #selfhelp #haha #ilikeit

A fabulously sweet story. This was a #bookclub pick and I'm glad I got to read it. There is plenty of discussion worthy points. It also left we wanting to know what he would do next. #2017christyread #ilikeit #fiction #audio

OMG, wow. I can say #WTFthatending is truly fitting. Gillian Flynn eat your heart out. This has the mother of all twists. How do you describe this book without giving too much away? #nowords #2017christyread #ilikeit #ebook

Haunting and beautifully done. I stayed up way too late to finish. I would have ruminated on this longer if my holds list hadn't blown up on me. #bookwormproblems #2017christyread #bookstagram #ilikeit

I was fascinated by this book from the moment I saw the cover. I found the story fast paced and enthralling. The characters were flamboyant, brooding, and understandable at their core. I saw an update on the author's website that there will be two more books. They will be added to my TBR the moment the titles are announced. #2017christyread #bookstagram #ilikeit #fiction #realbook
