I found a lot of similarities between his experiences and ones that I'd seen in my hometown. I was also a clerk at a grocery store and saw some interesting things. One of my more favorite Stephen King novels. It definitely had me not reading to close to bedtime. There were some disturbing passages that were not horror related. But since it was a very small part of the story I've decided to ignore it and still find the book enjoyable. #ilikeit #2017christyread #realbook

It starts out funny but ended up thought provoking. If you can forgive the language it is a blunt, insightful and we'll rounded look at what is actually important. I was fascinated by this book from the moment I saw the cover. I found the story fast paced and enthralling. The characters were flamboyant, brooding, and understandable at their core.
