Unpopular opinion: I wanted to love this book. I like the story premise but, I found it unnecessary long. I found that some expressions, actions, concepts were not in accordance to the time, maybe it was me. It didn‘t work for me the integration of those children‘s rhymes with the story, I found them nonsense. They were in the middle of an argument or battle whatever and you are going to recite “London bridge is falling down? Humpty Dumpty?⬇️

Gissy There were parts I liked. I didn‘t like the audiobook performance either. But that cover kills me😍 Thank you @BookwormAHN I received the book for #Lammas2022 glad I read it because it was in my wish list since it was published. So pretty with those deckle pages😱beautiful. 2.75/3⭐️
But most people love the book. Maybe I can change my opinion with a re-read in the future.

AbigailJaneBlog I agree with the length - I was dying at about 300 pages! I really liked the rhymes and the audio though. Sorry it wasn't your thing, but thanks for the tag! 1y
