This was such a fun MG read! It's perfect for October.

I loved the story of an unlikely friendship and that the scary old people on the street aren't exactly what they seem. 💚

It's creepy, yet fun and full of heart.

Connect the Stars | Marisa de los Santos, David Teague

Rounded out the month these titles for #MGMarch. I think what drives me to middle grade stories is the unique plots, the lack of overdone tropes. And yet the strong tapping in to the human condition almost always emerging…

Eggs I‘ve read only 1 of these: Connect the ⭐️⭐️. What was your favorite? 3y
SarahBradley I liked the Hand in Hand. Written by a teacher! I lend to you! 3y

A gem of a story. Funny, sad, beautiful. A self-discovery story at its finest. Just read it. 😀#MGMarch @Eggs @megnews

Absolutely loved Nowhere Boy. A forged friendship of two boys, one of whom is a Syrian refugee all alone in Belgium amid the 2015 terrorist attacks in France. Tropical Secrets, a more lyrical narrative, highlights a friendship of a Cuban girl and Jewish refugee while the island experiences turbulent times of WWII. #middlegrademarch #MGMarch

Kicking off #MGMarch with two delightful dog stories, one told from the point of view of a traumatized service dog, and the other a reminder of the importance of empathy. @Eggs

Eggs Oh these look so good 😊 3y
Eggs I just realized I read these last year🤓🤪 3y

I‘m ready for March. I‘m aiming for a big #mgmarch as well as a goal of 1 gn a day. I‘m one behind so far. 😁.

#bookspin @TheAromaofBooks

phantomx I'm behind with my GN and manga. I'm gonna crack through the tbr list of 'em by trying to read 1 a day(that's a great idea) 3y
LibrarianRyan @phantomx me to. Free up some room on my iPad. 🥰 3y

Pickpick

This is a light pick for me and seemed to suffer like many middle books of a series. Our skeleton bard is still on the hunt to find out who he is and he's still accompanied by his trusty companion, the gelatinous goo. The new characters we meet here aren't as charming or cute as in Vol 1. The artwork continues to be amazing and we moved toward our goal.

Volume 3 comes out this month & there's a website where you can listen to Stitch's songs.
