panMaggie Hope is imprisoned on a remote Scottish island with other specially trained British agents who know too much. Then people start dying. Sounds fascinating and the setting is indeed fabulous, but this book was a dud for me. MacNeal basically announces at the start that she‘s going to rip off Ten Little Indians then proceeds to do so, with an uninspired ending. This is my 2nd try with this author and she‘s not for me.
pickFinished this one last week. Maggie is still waiting for her sister to come to England from Germany. Sarah is getting ready for her first mission. There is a blackout killer copying Jack the Ripper and killing women working for the SOE. Maggie works with the police and MI5 to solve the murders and maybe finds another love interest.

pickI‘ve been doing a ton of yard work this week so I‘m flying through audiobooks!
This one has Maggie and the prime minister crew going to America. Eleanor‘s secretary is found dead as soon as they arrive, so Maggie works with Eleanor to solve the mystery. It also America in the 40s, so you have racism and an execution of a black man on death row. Also John reminds me of Sydney from the Verity Kent series and I don‘t like him.

This one has Lane suffering from PTSD. She‘s a trainer in Scotland and is told to take some leave. Her friend gets sick and some of her dance partners get sick and die. So, Lane works with MI5 to solve the mystery.
This book also touched on Pearl Harbor. Idk how true the before was, but it had me so stressed out. Especially since I‘ve been there and know what happened.

pickFinished the 4th book in the Maggie Hope series. I‘m really enjoying these, especially on audio.
This one was rough for Maggie. She had to go over Berlin for some undercover work and it affects her thoroughly. Don‘t want to say too much because the story was really good.

pickReally enjoyed this second novel in the Maggie Hope series. She ends up working in Windsor Castle as a tutor for Princess Elizabeth.
There are spies, mystery, intrigue, codes and code breaking. Set during WWII.
I definitely plan to continue this series! I love Maggie.
