I‘m not sure how this one got on my radar. 3 sisters are witches and run a tea shop telling their customers fortunes. They get enrolled by the head witches to help 3 witches find their task in life. They have to finish their task to not turn into ghosts once they die. The 3 sisters at the same time are following their passions but not sharing it with each other.

Absolutely enjoyed this this one!
This feels like a classic folk tale, what with Agatha having to take on missions/adventures to win favors from the Fae, intertwined into Agatha's every day life in her sleepy little village.
I truly loved the water colors and character designs. Everything was just a treat to look at. I really enjoyed Hyacinth the most and wouldn't have minded more of them.
With this book done I have read 75 books this year. High is half more than I normally make so I‘m super happy about that.m
I also have more than that in places I want to visit now…darn not being rich enough to do it!
I am finishing up my last 2 books of the year the next 2 days, and I will not be doing my best of until I finish them, but I do know how I did with my 2024 goals in general.

I Started out strong with my Jose Saramago goal, but only ended up reading 3 of 12. I lost track of the classics I was going to read, but know of at least 4 I didn't get to. I own them all so will roll them over to 25.
Time to go on a journey
Sorry for the late post; I've been dog sitting and then with the family since yesterday. Thank you @Forestandcrow for the book and candy. This was my number one book wish for the holidays. Happy Jólabókaflóð!
The story jumps right in after the prologue without much character development, which made it hard to get into at first. I love a good story about deep family bonds, and all the magic made it better! Anne‘s self righteousness made me so mad at the end, she played just as big a part. Overall a warm, cozy read. Book #106 in 2024
The fae/gods/etc are a tricky folk. Yet another reminder not to make deals, wishes, or eat food from strangers in the woods! Loved the illustration style and enjoyed the hopeful tone.
