I just used this one for my Sunday Funday post, and I really loved it! The description of the weather and everyone cozied up in the gorgeous inn was perfect for winter reading!

This classic was adapted to a drama and was in our 7th grade McDougal Littell textbook back in the day. I'd show the George C. Scott version 1st to my 7th graders; then, we read the play out loud (they did much better with the voices after seeing it first). It was always a favorite of theirs and mine.

For #MiddleGradeMonday I‘m sharing the classic Christmas read about the Herdmans and a new one that I just picked up to read this week. Stealing Christmas doesn‘t have a lot of reviews, and they are very mixed so we‘ll see how it goes.

I read this several years ago, but remain so charmed by this sweet family and their simple heartfelt Christmas celebrations while at the same time they must figure how to save their family home.

This week for #middlegrademonday let's share realistic fiction that takes place over the holidays and add to Christmas cheer on Litsy!
Repost and tag @daisey and @karisimo with your middle grade book idea. Any and all are welcome to play along!

There were a lot of picture books about Kwanzaa to be found, and then I found this one!
I vaguely remember seeing Chocolate‘s NEATE books in my Scholastic Fair growing up.

Ok, friends, I thought I had a few books featuring Hanukkah on my shelf, but apparently Let It Glow (also recommended by @Karisimo ) is it. So, I‘m looking for all your winter holiday recommendations.
Therefore, I‘m cheating a bit for the prompt. In this story, the family celebrates the entire season of Christmas including but not limited to days for St. Nicholas, St. Stephen, and the Three Kings.
