Had a hard time putting this one down! A story as strong and fierce and compassionate and honorable and raw and redemptive as its characters. So glad it is a #NBAwards finalist!

My predictions: Colton Whitehead, Heather Ann Thompson, Solmaz Sharif, and John Lewis will win National Book Awards. #NBAwards
