I assumed based on the cover that this would be a YA vampire story. However, it was much more juvenile than I expected. It's about a 13 year old half vampire / half human, but it seems written to more of a 10 year old audience. The story isn't terrible, but it's not all that original. I'd give it 2.5 stars.

Story +25 (starts at a Halloween party)

So many good books with a person's name in the title. For example, the Harry Potter books, Emma, Rebecca, Oliver Twist, etc. I choose this one because I read it with my youngest grand daughter a few weeks ago.

This was really cute. Best book of the year cute...No, but still a fun enjoyable read. I love the colors the illustrator uses and the author‘s way of making the child in the story talk to the reader and to the dragon.
