• Working on this book a little bit every day. I'm starting chapter 11, and while the section I'm currently reading feels a little technical, I'm very much interested in what is around the corner. Thoughts? •

Finished my second Elin Hilderbrand this weekend. I liked this one better than The Perfect Couple. I didn‘t even realize they were a series so I‘m reading them backwards...oops 😂 Reserved the first one in the series, A Summer Affair, at the library so I‘m looking forward to that hold coming in! #novel #elinhilderbrand #nantucketseries

“There's a strange man upstairs with my wife while I'm down here, washing dishes with one arm.“

It's safe to say I'm really enjoying this book, even though I don't quite know what's coming next 😻

GingerPicks @BarbaraBB It's very unsettling, great atmosphere and proving to be a relatively quick read too! 3mo

Although the ginge looks bored, I can assure you, I'm really intrigued by this novel so far. The opening chapters have been cloaked in mystery, and I'm not sure who to trust (unreliable narrator? unreliable everybody??) Excited to find out whether Junior will leave or not... #cats #catsoflitsy #foe #novel #currentlyreading #review #fiction

Reading on the beach is one of my favorite things and we had great weather for it this afternoon. I‘m reading my second Elin Hilderbrand novel and it just seemed perfect for a weekend beach trip. So far, I‘m hooked! The characters are interesting and I can‘t wait to see where this book goes. I‘ve heard her book Summer of ‘69 is really great too, and when an independent bookstore owner tells you, well you believe them! // #beachread #novel

About a hundred pages into this one and I‘m really enjoying it! The story was a little slow at first, but I like it better and better as the chapters continue. Nathaniel‘s dialogue is so witty and clever; it‘s a nice element of comic relief within the book‘s setting. Elisabeth is a feisty character and it‘s interesting to watch her bravery surface throughout the story. BTW, this book cover is beautiful!
