This is the series I finished reading in February for #serieslove2024. I liked the first book Kept better. I rated it 5 stars but I didn‘t like the other 3 books (Taken, Controlled and Released) that much. I rated them 3 stars. I don‘t think this needed to be a series. The first book was fine on its own but it ended with a cliffhanger so I felt like I needed to read the other books. All 4 books could have been written as 1 book.
Millions of women drool over soap star Mac Harrison. And scriptwriter Grace Wellington is no different— the hottie headlines all her wildest fantasies. She keeps him firmly in his place there, however, because her days have no room for such ego-driven men.

pickKamala tries to balance her own sense of self and the opinions of her racist, judgy peers as she navigates being a brown Muslim teen with new surprise super powers. Sometimes the bubble order is a little confusing, but otherwise I liked this first volume. Love the hilarious background details throughout.
