Finished the audiobook this weekend & I wound up really liking it & Margo much more than I expected to. I didn‘t find it laugh-out-loud funny as tagged & to be honest the Only Fans, WWE, gaming & cosplay references were over my head most of the time & things were a bit predictable (especially in that when Margo made bad choices, I would tell her in my head exactly when & how they were going to come back & bite her) but I really grew to ⬇️
DebinHawaii …care about Margo & to root for her. Elle Fanning narrated the audiobook & I think that added to the charm for me as I listened to it more than read my #BOTM copy. I‘m happy to hear she will be producing & starring in the tv show/series based on the book & that Nick Offerman is signed on to play her father, Jinx, with Michelle Pfeiffer playing her mother. Nicole Kidman is going to be in it too (maybe as the mediator or therapist?) 3w
Prairiegirl_reading I liked this so much more than I thought I would as well. I think Nick Offerman will be perfect for Jinx and I can see Michelle Pfeiffer being great too. I‘m excited for that adaptation! 3w
