Monday‘s haul from a couple of book swaps on the way home from my private ballet lesson on my exam content. The top and bottom books are for my niece.
This haiku is about what I saw in my backyard today. The blue jay flew off when I opened the door and I saw a lizard in the grass panting like he was scared to death. He was fighting for his life trying to keep from getting eaten. Poor baby. This picture of the Blue Jay is from Google.

This haiku is dedicated to my backyard wild birds and squirrels. I fed the birds and put out peanuts for the squirrels yesterday and put in fresh water in the bird bath yesterday and today. My birds and squirrels are having a party outside today in my backyard. They‘re happy.
