My #Bookspin choice was a book by K.L. Noone; I intended to start with The Magician but this turned out the be a prequel. It's a short fantasy romance with some lovely writing, and definitely piques interest for the next book.

pickA super short story where Charlotte Holmes helps a timid woman find the courage to make herself and spending time with her friend a priority. Another installment where my love for Charlotte & Mrs. Watson grows.
Book 8 moved up my TBR and will either be read this month or next.
Took at look at our school‘s #LFL during field day. I wish I‘d offered to be the steward. There isn‘t one intentionally, though I don‘t understand exactly why. I should‘ve convinced the PTO. It‘s always a mess. He only has about a week of school left here, so I guess I won‘t worry about it now. 😂
pickA fun novella and origin story for Vero about what happened in Maryland, how she met Finlay, and setting the stage for why she‘s such a good sleuth! Worthwhile for any Finlay fans!

Hill inherited his father's knack for eerie topics that makes you wonder if just maybe all of this could be real.

Well I was in a slump, insta slump, reading slump and what not.
Finally 1st read of 2025 , though a short story, it felt like a hug we need.
Backman's stories starts where I don't feel like continuing but by the end it's all smiles.

pickI‘m rounding up to a pick; I‘m not sure I really liked the MC, but I did appreciate the twist and liked the message I felt the author was giving.

pickBecause of the recap at the beginning, this one wasn‘t as good. IMO, a second book in a short story should just assume that someone has read the first and carry on. Outside of that, it was a fun and quick read.
