I am making this post for accountability purposes.
I recently discovered I have 50+ physical books I have won in giveaways or gotten in book swaps, but have not read. I decided this summer to read as many as I can.
I put them into a spreadsheet, they have all been assigned a number & have all been assigned an emoji.
I am excited about the variety of books on this list & hope to knock a lot off my TBR!
Wish me luck - I may need it, 😁! 💙💙💙
It's Democracy Sausage Day!
This book captures the triumphant feeling of learning something new and gaining independence.
My mom made me a new Hemingway pouch for Easter… I love it so much!
3 ⭐ This isn‘t a book so much as a song with pictures added. The original Octopus‘s Garden came out in 1969. This is a little funny, but when you hear the music, it makes so much more sense. This book is really about the illustration. The illustrations are done well, and I think if it was done correctly, this could be a lot of fun at story time.
Apparently we are having a family cuddle this morning!
Wishing all of you on Litsy the happiest new year! This year, I‘m hoping to get back into more classics after giving myself a bit of a break over the last couple years. I want to reread all of Jane Austen‘s work to celebrate her 250th birthday, tackle Proust‘s Swann‘s Way, Dickens‘ Hard Times, and a few others that have sat on my TBR too long. Of course, I‘ll also be picking up whatever looks good in the moment for fun too! Happy reading!
Well this one sounds absolutely sweet! 🤍
