4-4 1/2 stars until the end, which was disappointing and seemingly rushed. Solid otherwise, and enjoyable for the most part, but the ending needs rewriting. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Blake Crouch knows how to write a gripping thriller! I raced through this spooky tale an abandoned mining town and the #quest of two different generations to find a missing fortune in gold. I love how he was able to weave together two different stories taking place over 100 years apart.
