I finished listening to this today. I enjoyed the story, but I didn‘t love it. I think I would have enjoyed it more if I would have listened straight through instead of interspersing it with other audiobooks, but some parts were also just long. It also may be one I would appreciate more by more closely comparing it to Dickens‘ life since it seems to be somewhat autobiographical. The audio narration of this version was great.

Listening to some more David Copperfield while making cookies for a cookie exchange tomorrow! Lots of things are happening in the story now and I plan to finish it up this week.

Hey friends!! So I've been looking at my life and my upcoming schedule, and I am going to pause #RandomClassics definitely for January, and maybe longer, kind of depending. We're thinking about moving (!!!!!) plus we are going out of town in January, so there is a lot going on 😂 I still have a huge list of classics I would like to read, and I have really enjoyed reading these with you all, but for now I need to skip a month!! I'll let everyone ⬇

#two4Tuesday Thanks @TheSpineView for the tag!

1) Now-Little Christmas Eve, a tradition husband brought from Norway where we open one gift each 2 nights before Christmas

Then-as a kid we opened gifts on Christmas Eve (& still do). For Santa to have time to visit we went out to eat dinner. Mom @Doll8455 would “forget” her purse, run in the house, set out Santa gifts, and take bites from the cookies. Eventually we figured it out. ⬇️

Here are my November read books. I finished the tagged book way ahead of schedule for #whatthedickens. I got carried away! Three books for #authoramonth, one for #Canada #foodandlit (but I have two more in the works), and four “impulse” reads. @Cuilin @Soubhiville @Catsandbooks

Well, I‘m so embarrassed. Here I am co-hosting #whatthedickens and I lost track of where I was and finished the book! We still have part 4 to finish in December. I can attest it‘s almost too good to stop once it really gets going. Definitely worth the read! I‘ll refrain from reviewing it until the end of the year. @Cuilin
