Another post for #ReadingWomenMonth #YAbyawomanofcolor. During my teens I couldn't stop buying these Mtv paperbacks (anybody else)?? These two YA novels are raw, real, and the ladies in them don't let anything stand in their way. A very powerful look at the latinx community. I specially liked Graffiti Girl! I might have to reread these--it's been so long and I used to read these over and over again.

I don't read much YA so this is one of the few options I have for this prompt, but this was a powerful read--and a page turner! Promise you'll enjoy it.
