Well went and realized I read the 1 st book in the series and had the second book so I‘ll start there
Yesterday I decided to do a month long readathon of Agatha Christie from 5/20-6/20.. #agathachristiereadathon if you would like to join in the fun leave a comment.. we don‘t even need to read the same books together but it must be Agatha Christie. The goal is to see how many we can read in a month
I decided I‘m going to create a 30 day reading challenge for myself from May 20th to June 30th how many Agatha Christie books can I read. If anyone wants to join in let me know #agathachristie
My good reads says I listened to this as an audio book 5 years ago but I‘m not remembering it anyway I just got an order of Agatha Christie from Pango books and put them in order of the series so this one was up first
Taking a break from a court of mist and fury.. needed a bit of mystery
Ok so@I was looking at when I originally read the book and it‘s so funny I read it 7 years ago around the same time.. humm
Ok so i ordered this yesterday came in the mail today.. Ad soon as I am done the last few chapter of the first book on to this one. Like I don‘t even remember why I didn‘t continue the series
This is a re-read for me.. normally I don‘t reread books but I remember enjoying it years ago and I bought it for my daughter she hasn‘t read it yet but I wanted to continue the series so I thought why not
Ok so I‘m not sure where I heard about this book it may have been one of the YouTube channels I follow (she‘s not a booktuber) but she sometimes reads some intriguing books. Anyway sitting here can‘t sleep so listening to this book and knitting a sock
Got the audio from the library, so far I am enjoying it, the narration is good, and the stories are engaging.
Another great start to a series I know I will love.. Peter lovesey seems to have kicked my reading back into gear
Going to my local used bookstore to see if I can find any one the these books in the series
Ok I have had this book for a while started it last weekend and finished it tonight, read more then half of it tonight and finished and loved it.. now to start the series from the beginning :we‘ll from book 2 as I didn‘t realize I read book one in 2019.. I felt I had but wasn‘t sure so I checked
First read of 2023 I have read others from the series but not in order
I could not put this book down last night I got to about the halfway mark and had to force myself to out it down and go to sleep. I didn‘t think I was going to like it as much as I do
I have resisted buying this book for a long time not sure if I was gonna like it but I finally gave in as the library has a long holds list
Went to the museum of the American revolution today here in Philly with my 14 yr old and 7 year old(it was his idea he was asking question and I said we can go to the museum. He said sure. I was surprised and thought he wouldn‘t like it but he loved it , anyways in the shop the sales lady recommended this book I‘m currently reading Hamilton and it‘s a chunkier so I thought why not read this one
Next kindle book on the list. As I‘m trying to read more according to goodreads I‘m 13 books behind on the yearly goal. And my kindle seems to be how I want to read right now. Ok on to the book I mean I like it but it‘s a bit slow in the beginning.but things seem to be picking up
Finally my hold from the library came threw this week, my kindle tells me I‘m 33% in and I have about 3 hours left in the book maybe I‘ll read all of it today
Doing laundry reading this beauty
I tried but maybe it‘s not the right time. Will try again later and if I still can‘t get into it then I know it‘s not me
I love when a book throws me a curveball and I think I know or have guesses but I was so wrong..
Thank you for my lovely gift.. British chocolate the best #lcs #littlechristmasswap @bookish_wookish
Why I found this among two other books I had hidden from hubby on the dresser behind the tv.. forget that I bought it, sometimes I put things places and forget about it till I go organizing stuff.. must have been meant for me to find it and have it as my first read of the year, but o do remember why I bought it while I was in target, it was the cover that caught my eye.
Well I did not get to finish reading this at all this weekend I got called into work.. ain‘t that lovely.. I wasn‘t feeling this book anyway so maybe it‘s a sign, so my 20 hours was a bust but if you count the book before this that I read then I did 20 chapters and I‘ll call that a win #20 in 4
4 hours and 44 minutes of my #20in4 done. I‘m doing ebooks and counting 20 hours
Started my #20in4 earlier just to see if this book was gonna be the one I started with. So far I‘m liking it
Yes I‘m reading it after Christmas but… I saw it didn‘t but it before Christmas then couldn‘t find it the other day was in the target and saw it and it was the last one so I grabbed it.. just about halfway threw and so far I love it
On to book two I think I like this one more the way it‘s written
Perfect read for spooky season.. pulled me in from the start..
Its spooky month and for it means reading creepy atmospheric books..
I‘m in a Victorian mystery mood lately
This was such a great book, I loved the different story lines and the little blurbs at the top of the chapters..
I may have to reread this one, I don‘t know why but I feel like reading the vibe this book gives off, I never really looked but does she have other series similar to this one? Or any other series from other authors similar to this one .. to me this book was very atmospheric old world and that‘s what I‘m in the mood for I guess..
Thought I had donated this in a pile of books but I found it in my closet so it‘s time I read it.
Well what can I said it was a crazy thrilling ride. I quite enjoyed it,
Taking. Break from my Victorian cozy mysteries on page 62 and so far it‘s ok..
Not the best photo but today I found I. The used book store the next 4 books in the series so I thought it was time to pick up and continue the series
Edit :I took a better photo and changed from the original
I kinda got in to a slum dead in the middle of the book, I felt like it‘s not going anywhere it‘s becoming kinda repetitive but what I didn‘t realize was that‘s the point she needed to hit rock bottom and maybe have someone tell her cut the crap I know your better then this and in my opinion that‘s what Camilla did. She knew how daisy felt about billy she knew and she laid it out for her. And daisy respected that.
I didn‘t think I was gonna like this one boy was I wrong I feel bad for daisy I think all she wants is someone to care about her wants and the drugs and stuff started as a way for her to fit in but it got to a point where it became her. I think the person she shows to others the tough as nails take no shit getting high and all that is also a protective shell. She can‘t get hurt if she doesn‘t feel things since most of the time she is high
Starting a new reading challenge for myself. Read books I wouldn‘t normally read starting now. #outofyourreadingcomfortzone
Thought I would take a chance on it, trying to read outside of my comfort zone of mystery‘s thrillers and historical fiction..
Just bought the first 3 books in the series so I can start from the beginning.. didn‘t realize when looking threw the books I had read the forgotten girls a few years ago and to think I almost bought it
I have had this book for quite a while it was one of the few from my bookshelf at my desk I did t donate when I was thinning unread books. Thought it was about time I read it
I read it because I needed to know the ending but it was so slow, although we know what happened to her husband I didn‘t see it happening in that way so the ending made up for the slow build in the story
