Good. Interesting take on the romanticism and romantic society in Regency Britain.

Good. A parody of a Regency novel but the love the author has for the original shines through. If you love Jane Austen or The Brontë's then this is perfect for you. It has all the best themes of a Regency novel but with a modern twist.

Well Meet Again | Anton Du Beke

Very good. Enjoyed going back to the wonderful cast of characters who feel so real and catching up on what they are up to. Centered around the start of World War Two it shows how they are dealing with it and the cost it will bring to all their lives. Also don't be deceived by the cover it's not a Christmas book. Thank you #Netgalley for the free copy.

Good. Shows how much we are reliant on technology and how you should learn to appreciate your life with out it. Nice romance story as well.

Good. Follows three women who are having crisis of their own but when they come together they find a way of supporting one another. Full of twists and turns which means that you are on a rollercoaster of emotions and by the end of it makes you feel you know these women like best friends. Thank you #Netgalley for the free copy.

Good. Love reconnecting with these characters and their stories. Even though at one point there was a slight historical error I enjoyed the festive story and how the community all worked together in tough times. Look forward to the next book in the series.

Very good. Loved how from the very first page Anton Du Beke makes you feel that you are amongst old friends from the very first page. His love of dancing shines through every page.Just like the other books in this series it carries a message to the reader and this books message is to seize the day because you never know what is around the corner so you should live life to its fullest and create love in all it's forms when the opportunity arises ⬇️

Birdsong28 For the characters in this book the message is due to the Second World War looming but it is obvious that is a metaphor for 2020 as it was mainly written in the March-June Uk lockdown ( he says so much in his afterword). Can't wait for the next in this series. I did receive a copy through #NetGalley but I couldn't wait for it to be confirmed so I bought a print copy but I am thankful for #NetGalley.

Very good. Even though this is part of The Days of the Week series it can be read as a stand alone, even though there are characters from the first book in it. A real page turner as I just couldn't put it down as I wanted to know how Flora's journey came to a conclusion. Loved how the title is a pun as it is also about the maiden voyage of The Titanic

Very good. Anton continues to dazzle me with this series as he portrays his characters and themes with great depth even though the covers suggest something a bit lighter. Themes that run through this book such as addiction, race and class are still present in today's society even though it is set in the 1930's.

Review continues in the comments

Birdsong28 Through his writing we can see that he is passionate about these themes and he presents such a strong case for the dissolution of them especially addiction as he shows how it can affect not just the person but the people around them. I had a copy given to me from @RachelO and also #Netgalley so thank you to both.
