Four out of five stars. This book was beautifully written, and I very much enjoyed reading it. The simple love story was sweet and genuine. However there was a lack of conflict, and excitement. (Perhaps due to its autobiographical nature) I much preferred Anne‘s other book- The tenant of wildfell hall.
