I have been slacking on my #aliceinwonderlandretelling challenge so I decided to double up this month. This one 1) has made it onto my keeper bookcase 2) was inhaled in less than a day and 3) will be in the top 20 of favorite books read this year. Yes, I know ita only May but still! Great twists on the original story and I loved all the characters. Book 1 in a series and yes I'll be reading the rest for sure!

To be fair this author is quirky in his takes of different stories and Alice in Wonderland (one of my favorite stories!) Is already a trip but with this one it gets curiouser and curiouser. This is from the POV of Ada a character briefly mentioned in the original story...Alice's friend to be exact. Suspend disbelief and enjoy the ride is my suggestion if you decide to pick this one up. #bookspin #aliceinwonderlandretelling @TheAromaofBooks

As far as an #AliceInWonderlandRetelling this series is beyond intriguing and seriously different from any of the other books I‘ve read so far for this challenge. I will definitely stick with this series. Be warned this is a dark series and there is violence. So mind TW‘s.

This is a super clever and entertaining take on the Alice in Wonderland story. As far as the retelling challenge I‘ve done this year it ranks in the top 5 to be honest. Off to download the next in the series. #aliceinwonderlandretelling

The title pretty much sums this one up. I‘ve got a legit “what did I just finish?” Vibe to be honest. This is part of my #aliceinwonderlandretelling challenge and let me tell you the author embraced the crazy. This is a dark read so mind the TW‘s at the beginning!
