On the 4th Day of Christmas I pick Dead Silence as my favorite book of #April2022
This was my introduction to sci-fi horror and I‘m a fan.
If you have any recommendations for books like it I‘d be thrilled.

This was my top read for April. Everything Jane Goodall writes just makes me happy and this was so pleasant to read with all the covid stress. I love her outlook on life.

“‘People‘—Gerald turned his head—‘like to invent monsters and monstrosities. Then they seem less monstrous to themselves. When they get blind-drunk, cheat, steal, beat their wives, starve an old woman, when they kill a trapped fox with an axe or riddle the last existing unicorn with arrows, they like to think that the Bane entering cottages at daybreak is more monstrous than they are. They feel better then. They find it easier to live.”
